Eating out or in?
![]() Great title. XD - Do you prefer going out for food with friends, family, and/or significant other? - Or do you prefer enjoying home-cooked meals? - Or do you have no preference? -------- Merit and I just had this convo via MSN, and she seemed indifferent about going out versus staying in. I love going out to eat (depends on the place/location), for nothing more than the environment and chatting/laughing with friends/family. It ranks right up there with my favorite things to do. |

I suck at cooking but I love a home cooked meal that someone else makes! I love eating out too. I guess I am indifferent.

I like both. I enjoy cooking, so I love home-cooked meals. Also, eating out is charming.
I can't choose one side... =P |

I tried making this a poll, but I failed.. >_>
Anyways, I'll always dine out if the company is good and there's Happy Hour! |

I added the poll, but let me know if you want any of the options changed to say other things.
Anyway, I'm too pragmatic to truly enjoy eating out, as I inevitably wind up thinking that for the same price of one restaurant meal I could have eaten at least four at home. :P Though, yeah, cheap Happy Hour prices are the most likely time for me to overlook costs. |

I guess the more I think about it, the more I think I lean onto the "eating in" side. I love cooking, and I love people who cook for me. I also love to save, and have the more private atmosphere rather than a noisy restaurant.
I only go out to eat when it's meeting up with people I enjoy, and eating food I can't get from myself or someone else XD |

And at home you'll know when the food will be ready, another perk!

Rarely have I ever ate a home cooked meal that compares to some of the fine cuisine I've had dining out. Taste doesn't compare.
However I don't like how expensive it is to eat out. The food is expensive and tipping the waiter is expensive. I also don't like being served, I like to grab my own food and refill my own drink. I also don't like having to drive to and from the restaurant, usually after dinner I want to just sprawl out on the couch. |
