It won't be One Credit, Zero Continues, but I'm creating some videos as I type this. They're not videos of Kirby Super Star, but what will they be? Stay tuned!

this REALLY needs to be moved to Multimedia Forum, if only to boost the profile of that part of the boards.

Front Page Workshop will need to dissolve once you are finally finished converting things to gf-park.com.

I'm actually planning on just renaming it and making it some kind of forum for detailed reviews, impressions, editorials, blogthroughs, and other long threads, and then seeing how things go (assuming things ever stop breaking long enough for us to switch names in the first place)--not sure what the name will be, but to me the stuff in here certainly feels different from most of the stuff in Gaming Discussion and News. Basically I'm thinking this:

Creative Workshop:General Discussion :: New Forum Name:Gaming Discussion and News

Where General Discussion and Gaming Discussion are just kind of shooting the breeze or culling info from the rest of the Internet, but Creative Workshop and whatever-this-forum-will-be-called will be where our members really cut loose and show off their own unique stuff.

This particular thread will go to Multimedia, though, yes.

Bit.Trip Runner! After skipping Core and Void, I thought this one looked pretty enjoyable in videos and went for it. In two hours I was never able to beat the second of rhythm-pong-game Bit.Trip Beat's three (very lengthy) levels, so how will I fare in rhythm-platformer Runner?

Okay, now that the big move is over and all of its myriad problems won't be sapping my energy every day, I'm still back to the original issue--I'm almost out of games to do for this series that 1) I can do without losing flashing laser and electricity effects, 2) don't take three or more hours to beat, 3) I wouldn't hate playing, and 4) people wouldn't hate watching. XD

Example of 1: Blazing Lazers, Gate of Thunder, Detana!! Twinbee, Super Turrican, Mega Turrican. I really want to show these games... and I really can't, because the lasers and shields will be lost and look funky.

Example of 2: Secret of Mana, Neutopia II. Love these games and would love to show them, but breaking down a 15-hour and 6-hour game into ten-minute chunks for YouTube is... not exactly a pretty endeavor. Plus it would kill all remaining space on my four hard drives.

Example of 3: Gyrostarr. Wow, is that game ever terrible. :/ It's an incarnation of suffering.

Example of 4: Neutopia (I). While I love this game too and think that people who haven't already seen it in action would be fascinated by just how similar to Zelda it is, I have to admit that a good 90% of its NPCs tell you worthless lines and I'm not sure how much patience people would have for me going into every nook and cranny looking for them. (This is also a game taking three hours or more, but even putting that aside, the NPC issue nags...)

I'll try to think of something. Whatever the case, though, even if I can't do anything more on this front, I'm giving serious consideration to converting my blogthroughs to a video format as is the popular trend these days. The only problem is that I can hardly stand to listen to myself, so editing would be difficult... Prax said that maybe I could invent an "in-character" voice for myself, which doesn't sound like a bad idea, so maybe I'll go with that.

YouTube just upped its minute limit to 15 instead of 10, which is as great an opportunity as any to say this: I'm going to put new videos on hold for a little while while I re-upload older videos with the advantages that 1) they'll be in 15-minute chunks instead of 10, 2) I'll use YouTube's annotations to mention our site instead of watermarks, so even if we ever change names again I could fix it real quick, and 3) now that I actually have subscribers, maybe more people will watch them. :P

I noticed that, as well.

I love how Youtube is staying ahead of the curb!
