Nobody wants to read eighty-two posts of one word each--except maybe GameFAQs, I guess, but they have the advantage of very minimalistic forum design with posts separated by nothing but one-pixel-thick lines. That's an extreme example, though. If only a few posts here and there have just one or two words, would it still be a problem?
With most of my questions in this forum, I'm asking because I don't want to force my opinion. With this one, I'm asking because I'm not sure myself. If we had a minimum length of, say, twenty characters, would you find it too limiting and annoying or would you be glad to see it promoting detailed discussions? Should we run with positive reinforcement or negative reinforcement? Tell us whatever you think. :)
